It is possible to become the master of every guild, but you have to be very deliberate in what quests are accepted and what order they are completed in. Conflicts between guilds can and do happen. Unlike later games in the franchise, Morrowind doesn't keep guild storylines self-contained either.By choosing this method, there is only a single NPC that is well and truly essential, as he is necessary for both the intended path and the back path. This is actually far faster than actually doing the main quest as intended. However, to even access it, the player must kill the single strongest NPC in the game. If the main questline is broken, a difficult, but more straightforward back path exists allowing the player to finish the main quest. If the player does so anyway, the game is gracious enough to pop up a message informing them that they have broken the main quest, but nobody is stopping the player from continuing on. Morrowind quite famously does not even prevent the player from killing characters essential to the main quest.

Antagonize someone long enough? They might just attack you on sight. Steal items from a shopkeeper? Don't be surprised if they won't deal with you ever again.

The core tenet of Morrowind is that player actions shape the world, so the player is free to kill or piss off whoever they desire. You would then have to connect constant power to the ignition (distributor or coil pack) and then hold the wire to the starter motor together with power for the entire time the engine needs to crank to start until releasing it, not just arcing it a couple of times. On an older car you would still have to remove the panel below the steering column (several screws) and even then the wires from the key lock and other controls are tightly molded together in bundles requiring a razor knife to separate and strip them. Only a manufacturer's program (or a black market version) through the scan tool connector could bypass this. Beginning in the mid nineties with the introduction of 2nd generation on board diagnostics (OBD II) all cars have theft protection that requires electronic input from the key or the computer will either shut down the fuel injection or not allow the starter motor to engage. Many times Jack and others are seen stealing a car by quickly reaching under the dashboard to yank down some wires and intermittently sparking them together to make the engine start.
